We should never allow ourselves be bored. I’m sure it happened to all of us to say we are so very used to doing the same things in our spare time. The classical type of cards is the French one, which is formed of four suits representing hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs, and each suit includes a king, a queen, a jack, an ace and the figures 1 to 10. The standard pack of French cards has 52 cards. It is used in very popular games like: Whist, Bridge, Poker and Rummy.
There are other games as well, play it on the internet or not: Cribbage (the winner must gather 121 points that are scored for different card combinations; a card combination is scored a maximum of 15 points), Blackjack (your hand must beat the dealer’s hand with a total of not more than 21 points), Canasta, Euchre, Hearts, Pinochle and many, many version of Solitaire.
Euchre is an interesting cards game played in a rather alert pace. The common euchre usually takes four people to play and they are paired in two teams and a 24-card deck: nine, ten, jack, queen, king and ace of the four suits. The trump is the most valuable suit. The game’s object is for one of the teams to reach a 10 points score.
A cards game which is played either with a 32-French suit of cards or a German suit is Skat. The game is to be played by three people, each player being dealt ten cards at the beginning. The skat represents the amount of cards which remains after the cards are dealt to the players. The game’s objective is to get tricks and to sum at least 61 points.
Online cards games are really entertaining nowadays and there’s no way you’ll regret choosing to spend your time in front of the computer. Traditional games are greatly adapted to different tastes and personalities. They have great graphics.
